I just wanted to give a little input. When I did the full MC
conversion when I very first got my urq (I was the first time 2bennett
did an mc conversion on an urq) back in '98, I never saw a ref.
There's no reason. Technically, yes, if you change and update the
engine you have to see a ref. but to my knowledge, there aren't any
outward signs that a conversion has been made, and the vacuum diagram
is still pretty much accurate for the newer engine. So, it will pass
smog.
