[urq] V8 Brake swap for UrQ - bad info worse than no info.?

sucks that Ben was put in the predicament but "this" is why this list is so
great. People stepping up to the plate. Part of the reason my urq is still on
the road is because of the generosity of other members (Mike Sylvester). Also
lucky enough to have another local (eurodesign) offering up freebies from yard
cars, keeping the 90q and Urs4 on the road. If not, I'd probably have to be
driving the ahem, Buick... 8-)

cheers,

tom.

Hey Ben,

Cant agree more, and have also been bitten in the past not necessarily from this
list but from bad here-say on forums.

I dont have an answer for your question below, but do know that a Ur-q recently
up for sale had the V8 rear brake swap completed. The ad for the car (already
sold) is at
http://audifans.com/marketplace/show.php?table=pm_audifans_Cars&id=4313 .. maybe
the owner can help you out a bit?

If your in a real bind, my ur-q is going nowhere fast. Your welcome to some bits
to get yours back on the road if need be, I'm local (ssf).

Johnny
