Hi Rob, you're likely looking for 191-419-811/812 tie rod ends. They do
fit the ur-q front strut housing taper seat.

> In order to make this swap work I am told that I need Golf/GTI tie-rod ends. I have verified that the tie-rod ends on the ..802K & ..801E have too-skinny a shaft on the balljoint to fit into the UrQ strut arm.

> General Status Update of the project: Since we left off last January I ended up needing to re-do the entire fuel system between the engine and the tank. Refinished/replaced all lines, new pump, deleted accumulator, new filter, new new new. So new in fact that the new pump when tested was bad. Grrr. NewFP2.0 is on the way. Every bushing & mount for the suspension and driveline has also been replaced. New control arms installed. My small-dif-housing customer 4.11 Torsen built by Scott D. in Corpus is now in the rear subframe and all bolted up. OK so I lost the entire hot months in Texas, but my garage has no A/C. So now it's time to start getting serious again. Once the NewFP2.0 is installed I hope to hear the VEMS managed 3B fire up again which should really ignite my desire to work on the car.
