This happen to my late 83 Coupe GT a few times when it was cold, like in the 20s
Farenheit. Underhood fuse box. I did anything to fix it and normally don't
have the car registered in the winter so I probably switched my registration to
another car and it never happened again in the summer.
I remember driving by a sign in manhattan that said 'no honking $125 fine'.
I probably disconnected the horns under the car.

Subject: [urq] Horn issues
Guys-
So yesterday I was driving home - it was cold - about 5 deg C - and my horn
just started intermittently honking. I'm sitting at a light - it honks.
I'm passing by a girl at a bus stop - it honks. I pass by a guy at a bus
stop - it honks. I'm driving along - it honks! So I did pull over - was
able to pull the wires from one of the horns - but couldn't get to the other
one and it still honked intermittently by itself. Usually when I was behind
some gang bangers in a '79 Impala with 24's at a stop light.
Do horns just go bad? Horn button going bad? Wiring issue? Any BTDT?
