Don't forget that when you touch that black plastic cover it will of course completely disintegrate in your hands while you cry out in anguish "Noooooooooooo" (ala: Hammond in some TopGear skit). I bought a new cover and refuse to install it until I'm done mucking about in that area of the car, to prevent the need to buy it again...

When you go to pull the white-plastic HVAC plenum cover (which sits under the black plastic drip cover; and above the fan motor), you'll likely need to have handy some new foam tape to re-seal it up upon re-install. Don't forget to take pics of the correct vacuum line routing to the AC-flap-door servo and ensure that it works right BEFORE you pull it apart. If the flap-door doesn't close when using AC, then the condenser can ice up. While the plenum is off, it's also a good time to try and vacuum out all the leaves that fly into your eyes (or coffee) when you first turn on the fan and open the center-vent flap-door. Or minimally to get rid of that little ticking noise of dry leave against fan blades.

Finally on mine, I found some extra little clips to keep the intake screen of the white HVAC plenum cover in-place. Previously it was falling off, and not-sealing thus letting in the little leaves creating the noise and polluted-coffee effect.

A potential - "while you're in there" is to remove your wiper arms, and wiper motor assembly and clean/lube it all up so that you don't have the veeerrrrrryyyy ssssssllllloooooowwww wiper arms if that plagues your UrQ. Be careful of the little black caps that cover the nuts holding the wiper-arms onto the posts. They like to break off and are as I understand NLA.
