If the imbalance problem is simply a function of weight, then you can
correct for it.
However If your tire is thumping or pulling or oval shaped because of a
manufacturing flaw, then this machine can tell you and you can stop
diagnosing and blame the tire as being the culprit.
You can have a perfectly balanced egg shaped tire. You can also have a
perfectly round tire that under load acts like an egg shaped tire.
Neither will give you a very good ride.
