Justin, not to be too obvious, but have you tested the coil? My original
coil failed on me in a way that was pretty similar to what you're
describing.
Also, I don't think the mostly mechanical CIS fuel injection sounds like
the issue, it sounds like if it's not the coil, it's possibly the ECU.
