A couple things.... For power steering bracket, contact Ben H he has made up some adapter brackets for this conversion that has become the standard for the power steering pump to the 20vt conversions....
To the vacuum brakes on a turbo car, I've installed several, have it in my 4kq track car, and have driven several vacuum braked conversions at the track.... Patrick fails to realize there are plenty of vaccum brake turbo cars including later turbo audis and even the 944T of the same era. Even the A1 widebody Pikes Peak urq is running vaccuum brakes... If vacuum reserve is your concern add vaccuum resevoirs they are cheap and plentiful. A vacuum pump is not necessary to this conversion

I fabricated a custom bracket for the original PS pump .
Located in thesame area as the 3B pump was .
And IIRC a longer belt has to be used .
Once you get the pump installed , all the rest can be put back to working
order .
Make sure to get the brake system back up to spec .
A vacuum assisted brake ona turbo engine is a bad idea , altough several
people have a
different opinion about this .
But there is a reason audi designed the hydraulic system and choose not to
use the vacuum
assisted brakes that have proven it's worth for decades on na engines .
If you do insist on having a vacuum assisted brake , then get one of those
vacuum pumps
from a diesel engine .to power it . Some diesels , ford transit fi , have a
vacuum pump on the
alternator . Easy and effictive .
