NLA USA, have been for years - No stock of either part in the US, I just double checked as I was on hold for status of another parts order when I read the below. IME with these, the 'slow' or 'stop' failure of the wipers, is usually corrosion of the shaft from a torn, missing, or disintegrated o-ring, not the bronze bushing itself. I've done a couple restorations, which involved replates of the shaft with a quick cleanup of the bushing with some emery paper, relube with synthetic grease, install the new o-rings, which usually takes care of most of the issue. I have also found that the 'lubricant' in the motordrive turns to an adhesive over time, and could use a good cleaning of the transmission with a healthy refresh of synthetic grease or white lithium paste.
Cheers to the lucky dogs across the pond that can still order these.

Subject: [urq] windscreen wiper rebuild
Did you know that audi offers a rebuild set for the windscreen wiper mechanism ?
I've got maybe 10 used mechanisms in my parts attic , and they all more or less
suffer from thesame
problem . Both bearings or pivot points are assymetricly worn .
Causing the wiper blades to either shreek or lose contact in a certain area .
Last year I spend a whole day on the lathe machining bronze bushings
and polishing the axes to repair one mechanism . It'll probably last longer then
the entire car now , but it was a lot of work .
Today I found out its an off the shelve and dirt cheap part .
811955215A bearing left
811955216A bearing right
Cost about 10€ a piece .
