The "problem" with Sachs is, that the under-rate their clutches (to be
safe?) so in the first place
I bought from 034 a SPEC clutch rated at 800 Nm because the 707 is only
advertised at 560 Nm as far as I remember.
And the SPEC have to be "burnt in" over 800 km and it did not really help
and a year after it was just slipping.
I think the springs were too weak. You did not feel, that you have to step
harder on the pedal.
So do use the Sachs. It is strong and reliable and I have used that pressure
plate for 12 years w/o problems at my
200 20V from 90 and later on on my Urq-83 witch in the first place was a 2.5
litre stroker with 20V 3B head and later,
when the JE pistons suddenly get too small in the bore, in the 3B
replacement engine (stronger rods).
As the clutch is a difficult/time consuming unite exchange, I can only
advice to choose a reliable one in the first place.
Just my experience
Claus
