[urq] To 3b or not to 3b?

I went through the same thing with my 85 recently.y original plan was to get the car sorted (it had been sitting for a while also) and then do an ABY swap.
However, once I got the WX sorted, it was hard to justify the expense and effort of a swap- from what I've seen in terms of sales, a 3b or AAN swap doesn't add much if anything to the value of the car, and may limit your market because many buyers are looking for original cars.
Case in point- I've seen several well done 3b swaps priced at ~$15k sit on the market forever, but a stock 100k mile 85 sold for $21,500 the first week it was up on Bring A Trailer.
So, if you are planning to keep it forever, swap away. If you want to optimize your return, don't mess with it now that it's finally running.
