Hi Paul
Welcome to the urq list.
Re: your questions, I'm no expert on the WX (WR owner) but some things carry over all variants.
Rough running / Potential vacuum leaks - quick test - with engine warm and running, lift the dip stick. If no change in sound/revs then it points to a leak somewhere. Even good looking small braided hoses breakdown internally unseen so check properly. Per previous advice though, run for a 100 miles or so first and it might all start to run better after so long idle.
Re: cam belt - again i confirm need to change water pump and especially the belt idler. Everything else, change if you need to after inspection.
Re: oil - i understood spec was 5w/40 fully synthetic. You should be able to get aftermarket oil filter (main) no probs - just make sure it has a non-return valve in it. Small turbo filter might be more tricky but often on ebay(UK).
Gearbox oil - yes 90 is correct grade. I use MT90 from Redline. Rear diff is i think 80, you'll have to check.
Re: brake fluid - seek pro advice. Very expensive if you use a fluid incompatible with internal seals (in cylinders and servo).
Hope this helps
Regards
Keith
