Oh yes, that sounds familiar. I thought better of a "me too" post earlier, but I've noticed the same condition on my car & I suspect there may be others with this problem. Has anyone considered a group buy on a machined replacement part? I don't know if it is practical, but I'd be in for a pair if it is ...
