So it sounds like the car must be on the lift 5 feet off the ground.    So a lift is the 3rd tool required.   400nM torque wrench and crank lock being the first two.

I guess you could always do your best tightening the bolt - and take it to a shop to have them just torque it up to spec.

It is an interference engine so if you "risk" the belt and it goes badly, the costs in time, money and mental health will be significant. 10 years is a long time in one position for a belt and so might be best to change it. It is something you can do yourself. Two things you must have or have access to are a torque wrench that will go to 400nM and a tool to lock the crank. All the rest is patience and attention to detail and you can always ask the list if you get stuck.
