[urq] I layed an original urq F shock on it's side, and it leaked a bit

I store it upright now.   Details are sketchy (few years back now) but it was probably on it's side for months in a tool chest, and they I found an modest oil mess there.   Is shock bad? or not necessarily.   It was actually in a used strut assembly I purchased.


BTW - who makes a shock that offers a decent ride.  I figure with a more compliant suspension, maybe it's less likely the windshield will crack.  Soak up some potholes.
