Damn! I hoped that would be it. That is a good tradition to have. Very wise (and usually rewarding too). What else can stop a motor in that space of time? Hydro-lock which you have ruled out. Friction derived seizure - maybe but would it allow restart within 10 mins? Not surprised you are frustrated.
Clutching at straws now: an issue with the starter motor perhaps not disengaging, getting hot and stopping the motor? Then cooling to allow restart.
When you changed oil grade, did the oil you drained smell of fuel?
What happens if right after it stops you whip the plugs out? Will it turn at all either with s/moter or by hand?
Will keep thinking on it.
