If you're driving in winter and you try and stop suddenly on an ice patch because of an obstacle, how would you describe the feeling in the brake pedal? Last winter I experienced this feeling and I want to compare what it felt like to me as how everyone else describes it. I have a 1994 90CS Quattro Sport. Thanks, Nate.
Nate,
I haven't tried braking in mud, but on icy and wet roads the brake pedal
in my 94 90S (non-Q) "buzzes" a bit when the ABS activates. I can also
hear the pulsing sound of the ABS unit. It's not really an unpleasant
feeling (unlike in some cars) but merely an indication that the system
is operating. It doesn't provoke me to take my foot off the brake.
Hope this helps.
Tom
