[V6-12v] Temp. gage reading low, trouble code 2312

I wrote the original write up and it was for the 1993 2.8L 90 CS Quattro.
You are right about the timing belt tension, HOWEVER at that point you
must be very carefully not to allow the timing belt to come off or skip
because if it does skip with out your knowledge, you will have VERY big
problems, could even damage the engine, and if it comes off than you
will end up towing your car to a good mechanic, unless you have the
tools and knowledge your self to reinstall and adjust the timing belt.
And regarding the shroud and fans I did not have to remove it, it's
tight, but I had no problems.
