When the oil light coems on, it doesn't always mean you're out of oil, but
you did the right thing by shutting it down.
the 100% suer way to know that it has pressure is to get it home, remove the
oil perssure sending unit (whereverinheck it is), scerw a pressure gauge
into the hole and see what pressure you already have.
Blocked oil passages are possible, but unless the enigne is seriously gunked
up (not likely) my bet is a faulty oil perssure sending unit. (My suspision
is caused by my Datsun 280ZX which is legendary for failing oil sending
units which take only 5 minutes to erplace.)
If you can't try anything else, get a new pressure sensor / sending unit and
install it. See what happens. If the problem goes away, it was the sensor.
