The CV joint itself is made up of three main components.
The outer housing , The "cage" and the inner housing for lack of abtter
term . The inner housing (after I got it out and cleaned up) I noticed could
go in two ways. The cage doesn't matter. The inner housing on one side has a
recessed ridge all the way around the outer edge I just don't know if it
faces towards the car or wheel. If your CV joint came prepacked you may not
have seen this I was just wondering if you noticed. I can send a digi pic
if you think it would help
