[V6-12v] replacing ignition coil packs

I'm pretty sure those wires must go to the ignition output stage which is in 
the middle of the baulkhead at the back of the engine bay. You'll see several 
electrical connections there: a group of 5 plugs for various sensors on the 
left (this is looking at the engine bay from the front) with a connector for 
lambda probe 1 behind them, then in the middle you'll see a brown coloured 
connector with two longer plugs in them. On the left side is a brown 4-way connector 
which comes from the ECU and on the right side is a 3 way connector which 
directly feeds the ignition coils - running underneath the intake manifold, 
presumably...
