[V6-12v] AC question

Are you sure it's not the radiator fans kicking in?  When my engine
gets too hot, the fans kick in to cool it down.  Does it sound like a
muffled drilling sound?  I hope I'm not a dummy about this and it
really is your AC.  Check out the links at:

In the climate control trouble code section, in at least my 90, has a
graphics channel (channel 52) that uses the segments of the climate
control to give you on-off conditions of different inputs to the AC
system to help you figure out if you have an errant input and where
you might want to check.  Good luck.
