[V6-12v] AC question

Lino --

Mine does that. According to my mechanic, it should do. It has a thermostat
so when it's cooled enough, it switches out until it needs to chill the air
again. I do find that I notice when it cuts in more than I have done on
newer cars, but again he reckons that the newer vehicles have the
(factory-fit) air con more closely linked with the ECU so that revs are
automatically compensated when the compressor kicks in (meaning you don't
notice that jerk in response).
