[V6-12v] AC question

I've had the dash assembly apart on a Audi 200Turbo, which should be 
similar in construction. It wasn't really very daunting, once the 
assembly was out of the car. Big towel, kitchen table, disassemble to 
reveal a few circuit boards and ribbon cables. Clean with spray 
electrical cleaner (outside!) then look for broken traces, loose 
connections, resolder as required. Since you are only interested in 
tracing lights, it makes the whole thing much easier (I was after the 
circuitry to the center LED display).
