[V6-12v] How do you test the "ignition output stage"

Nothing to do but check the connectors or wiring. If you're going to remove
oxidization from electrical wiring, consider using a specialist cleaner like
Caig Deox-It. WD-40 isn't really that great for removing deposits that
prevent electrical connections, or preserving them against future
contamination, whereas the Caig stuff is.

Also works small wonders on any plugs/sockets around the home, especially if
you have an audio system you're fussy about... Who me? Never...
