[V6-12v] A6qa overheating issues

Hey all.
I was going to the las vegas hilton for my 13thanniversary with my wife when my overflow tank blew up. Now I had a problem with one of thefans trying to weld itself but it was still working till the one I had on order arrived tomorrow. Now I have a tank coming at the same time so all will be fine soon as long as I can get an answer on this question. First of all, the fix I used to go from a gas station to the hotel and then the hotel to my home (10 miles) is plugging the hoses going to the tank after refilling the radiator. The question is why is the cooling fan not trying to turn on? I tripped something when the bad fan gave up the ghost. Where is the circit breaker or fuse (I checked the fuses) that may keep the fans from coming on? I remember a big fuse type breaker  my 200qt had on the side of the engine compartment. Does the A6 12v have the same type thing and where is it? Thanks BA
