[V6-12v] Headliner falling down... Hints?

I think I posted on here about the same problem but to a leather panel on
the right-rear passenger seat. The foam also deteriorated and falls off if I
brush it. I tried to spray a 3M product (it could be the Type 77 The
CyberPoet mentioned) but after a month, it fell down. It was unusually hot
at that time so I don't know if the heat ruined the adhesion, if I sprayed
too little, or if there was something wrong with the spray but I will try
again. My mom is an artist and she uses the stuff so I think it's the right
stuff. I applied it to the back of the leather and on the panel, then
sandwiched the two pieces together. I have to give my car a good cleaning
soon now that it's not blazing hot outside.
