1) If you will be unable to find it in USA, try German ebay (www.ebay.de)
most of them respond English. If you'll be still unsuccesful I can try to
check the price of the cover and price of some economy shipping.
2) Check the airfilter, spark plugs and cables. (I bet on the cables) Also
try to clean the MAF with brakes cleaner spray and soft toothbrush. Then go
to the more sophisticated jobs like ISV... If the MAF has the CO
potentiometer - it is good idea to find anybody with VAG (Ross Tech works
perfectly) and check the CO settings. The O2 is good ide too.
Rough how to is on my page http://44magnum.czweb.org/en/audie.html "Engine
Diagnostics"
3) If the board voltage drops, then the electromotor has to push against
force - clean and lube the links
Martin.

Subject: [V6-12v] 96 A6Q Avant questions
Hey guys,
Updated from a 94 90s to the 96 A6Q Avant.
Couple of questions:
1. anyone know where I can find a luggage compartment cover (that
retractable thingy)?
2. the car has a low and rough idle - any thoughts?
3. the wipers are really slow - looks like they are straining and the
voltage drops significantly when they are turned on.
Thats all for now.
Thanks,
Eric
