[V6-12v] 96 A6 ISV and idle issues

Yes, bunged up 02 sensors can also cause running problems like hesitation
and surging, without throwing a fault code in my experience. However, they
usually seem to be worse when cold if they're on the way out. I've had two
on different cars now where it's almost certainly the heating element that's
failed first giving rough running and hesitation when cold.
