[V6-12v] AC low pressure 134a quick connect on 95 A6?

I have the same problem with a 1995 S90 and I posted the same question last year.  In the S90 there is a valve underneath, close to the oil pan, that has a schraeder connection.  This connection is a low pressure one, but some people do not think that it is appropriate to charge the system using this valve.  Someone here, though, has done it.  The only quick connect that my car has is in the front, near the radiator, but it is a high pressure connection, for which you need to take the car to the dealer.

Since I do not drive this car, my wife does and she has not complained, I have not addressed the problem again.  But, if I have to I will use that valve underneath the car and see what happens.  This is a very poorly designed system.
