The two packages that I've seen mentioned most often here on audifans and
audiworld are vag-com by Ross Tech and Prodiag by Shadetree software. Vag-com
runs on a lap top while the Prodiag runs on Palm, Sony and Handspring pdas.
Both products have good endorsements and are well supported.
