[V6-12v] Rear Door Speakers

Hello,

I'm actually quite fond of the performance of the factory rear speakers.
Tonally, they are reasonably neutral and, to my ear, are better sounding
than much of the boom/sizzle speakers that currently pose for "quality"
replacement speakers.

There is a black connector with four wires in each rear door that is prone
to corrosion. Removing the door panel and cleaning these connections should
restore proper operation to the rear speakers. If you want to get really
fancy, a layer of Dynamat or similar damping material on the plastic woofer
enclosure and a 50% fill of fiber-fill (aquarium filter material will work
very well,) will slightly enhance the bass performance.

I hope this is helpful.
