You may want to investigate who in the area bends their own stainless  
steel exhaust pipes... my experience has always been that shops that  
do have the most reasonable prices and the best quality work when it  
comes to doing exhaust work for me. They've come through on other  
cars that were extremely expensive to replace the OEM exhausts on and  
have always managed to match an off-the-shelf cat to my needs (not as  
difficult when you bend your own pipe to make up small difference in  
lengths). I've been lucky so far that none of the three Audi's I've  
owned have needed anything exhaust-wise...
