[V6-12v] Radiator Fans not switching in correctly...

Hi Austin,
Thanks, the car has been very slow getting up to temp in the last few
months, so I wonder if that could be a potential problem. I had just thought
the thermostat was getting dodgy, but perhaps the thermostat is a more
recent problem that's stuck closed and now causing the overheating!
Is there any way, short of replacing it, to tell whether the coolant cap is
faulty? For example, should it rattle/not rattle if you shake it, etc?!
