[V6-12v] no start

Clive,

If you trace back the thin control wire from the starter you'll find
that it has a connector in it. If I recall correctly this connector is
located right by the battery. If you connect the thin wire from the
starter to battery plus through a 15-20 A fuse you should be able to
get the starter to turn.

If the starter doesn't 'click' (the solenoid is not engaging), try
give the starter a couple of taps with a hammer. Sometimes that
loosens up the solenoid.

You might want to check the ignition switch and make sure it returns
properly from the start to run position. That was what fried my
starter.
