[V6-12v] Any Experience with Amsoil Products?

Depends on the individual engine. I tried Mobil 15W50 in my 80Q and it used it much more quickly than the semi-synthetic I use regularly. The engine has been stripped down since and is in very good condition, but it did like to burn that fully synth off.

Why do you want to switch to fully synth? It's not better for every application. Personally I use a very high quality semi-synth like Castrol Magnatec, and as the mileage creeps higher I may even switch to a mineral like Castrol GTX. I just do more regular oil/filter changes with a flush every second change, but the cost differential over fully synth easily allows me to do this.

I'm looking to switch my vehicles to synthetic motor oil and considering
Amsoil products. Aside from people's opinions re: multi-level marketing,
I would like to know what experience the list has had with the Amsoil
brand products (lubricants & filters). I have read their promotional
materials and they make the products sound pretty good, but all the
grains of salt I have ingested along with the info have made me thirsty
for some independent feedback.
