[V6-12v] heater core replacement

Frank,

I think I did a write-up on that. Try searching the archives. It would be
for a 1994 90S, but I'd imagine the cars are pretty similar.

The only snag I came across was that pesky nut behind the radio. It's an
innocent looking 8 mm (or maybe 10 mm) hex nut. Remember to remove that. It
holds the dash ducts to the heater box.

Expect it to take 2-3 days. Clean the heater core with some brake cleaner or
something to avoid oily smell. If you have A/C, you need to get that
discharged. I'd replace the O-rings and restrictor valve/screen,
receiver/drier now that you have the A/C system open anyway. You'll need to
add A/C oil (PAG-46 if memory serves - see my A/C compressor write-up in the
archives).
