The places that can let water in:
- the rubber window seal
- the rubber tailgate seal
- the rubber tail light seals
- the license plate/light seals
- the rubber seals around the side windows

Having a person inside the hatch while you shower it with water
is one way. Sprinkling talcum powder around the opening may help,
as the water will disturb the powder.

Since you had work done on the glass, that would be my first
guess. Next most likely candidate I think is the taillights.
