Depends why it's beeping.  When my 200 is low on windshield washer fluid,
it beeps.  The first time it happened, I thought I had a major problem.
I don't see a need for a beep there.

OTOH, when my A4 fried it's engine because it was low on oil, I never
heard a beep. A beep would have been *really* useful. Especially since
the LED Info Display was dead, which I guess where the warning appears.

So, beep for critical issues (things that threaten the health of the
car or driver).  Little stuff, no need for a beep.
