[V8] Hall Sender Solved

Hi all,

Just had the right distributor replaced today to solve the "cam position"
sensor failure. When the distributor was removed, we found that somewhere
in the past someone had broken off the take up on the hall sender and glued
it back on. Apparently, it worked for some time, but started to break up
and finally disintegrated.

Strange that the car could run with the take up in pieces, but it did. My
mechanic told me the computer will compensate by averaging the sparks on the
other cylinder bank and applying them to the right side. He, like others on
the list, suggested that there should be no noticeable difference in the way
the cars drive. I have to disagree. There was a definitely noticeable
hesitation in the acceleration of the car that was completely gone once the
distributor was replaced.

Anyways, all is well now.

Thanks to everyone for the help.
