[V8] IC cluster (again)

A related question - if cleaning the contacts doesn't fix 'false alarms'
with the warning display in the IC that I get with low fuel warning and
oil pressure warning, - is there any rig the wires so those specific
warnings will never appear? Mine go off whenever it rains and if I hit
major potholes.
- I don't want to disconnect the whole unit because there are other
useful warnings like the low antifreeze which gave me a great heads up
when I had a pinhole leak in my radiator hose.
