[V8] Starter Removal

Can't get the starter out.

I have removed the two bolts but the starter just won't come out despite use of plenty of leverage.

I have removed the lower 12mm hex bolt......no problem.  The upper 10mm hex bolt was a bit more tricky but I found easy access by removing the passenger side distributor.  The 10mm bolt came out nicely and the thread fits the rebuilt starter beautifully.  It's nearly 3 inches long.

Because the starter won't slide out easily, I thought that I may have removed the wrong upper bolt.  I have searched in vain to find another similar bolt.

Has anyone does this before?
