[V8] fuel leak

Have smelled gas very faintly lately. Was under the hood today and found some signs of previous dampness near the #1 & #2 injectors (passenger side, front of rail).
I was also underhood to check over some vacuum hoses for vacuum leaks. I had the plastic shield at the base of the windshield propped up and I was laying on the engine working back there when I smelled gas again, fairly strong and close.
I found that the #1 injector was actually dripping gas from its connection to the fuel rail. I first thought that was from pressure that had built up sine I ran it recently, then I thought maybe because I was laying on the engine, I may have caused it. But there was still the evidence of previous wetness.
I don't feel that I should drive it now until this is corrected. I'm thinking that I should pull the rails and replace o-rings or whatever is there.
There are also some clips that apparently hold the injector to the rail. I found one of these (inj #3) just laying below. I straightening it out and reinstalled it but it didn't seem to fit well. I checked the rest of these clips and several more of them either seem to fit poorly or are just plain loose. I'm thinking I should change all of them when I do the o-rings.
Comments, advice, BTDT, all welcome.
