Thomas, Thomas --

Yes, I was thinking of doing that just a short while ago.

>From what I've read and discussed with other non-conversion-averse listers,
the ABZ motor harness cannot be used, as it is looking for signals from the
Automatic Trans control unit, so you'd need to look elsewhere for engine
management -- Electromotive comes to mind as does F.A.S.T. At least one
(passenger side) motor mount has to be modified, as does the oil pickup
(remote line due to clearance issues). Realize also this is a fly-by-wire
throttle motor and not the traditional cable-operated accelerator. I'm sure
there's more, but I passed up on a complete ABZ motor with wiring harness,
ECU and accessories (Alt, A/C Compressor, P/S pump) because of the high
degree of work involved (time & $$$ -- neither of which I have an abundance
of at the moment).
