[V8] Headlight lense install

Has any one jus replaced the lenses? I pulled both my headlights out before sending the car off to the shop to be painted. When I say pull, I mean pull. I did not unscrew the the whole deal, I just pulled the lenses out of them. What I was thinking I dont know. Now, how do they go back in? I allready broke one of the adjustment knobs of of the back of the left side lense. I am trying to source one if anyone has a lead let me know. Is the black plastic part held on by 4 screws behind the headlight. I cant get the headlights to snap back in. Any ideas? Thanks
