[V8] Suspension

You've gotten plenty of good advice about shocks & springs so I won't go
into any of that.  As I recall, though, the front a/r bar from the 4.2L V8s
('93 on) is slightly larger than that on the 3.6L versions and even though
it's a dealer-only part, it wasn't all that costly as compared to typical
aftermarket prices (not that there is anything such thing for the V8, of
course).  I may be wrong about the diameter -- as my Audi-tinkering days
wind down, my memory for details is fading -- but you might investigate this
further.  I installed one on my '89 200q and it works quite well in
combination with the '92 S4 factory springs, Koni Sports, and a
semi-aggressive wheel alignment.
