[V8] Anyone Actually Buy From Discount Converters?

I had a good chat with Mike Rooney this morning ... he confirmed my
suspicions that it is very likely that I can get my cars to pass smog by
replacing the cats ... in fact he's got quite an involved method to get V8s
to pass which will likely work for me ... but I'd like to be able to drive
up to the local gas station and do the deed without a lot of hassle ...

So, I looked through my archives and found references to the Discount
Converter site ... they indicate that they have replacement cats for about
$250 each.  Has anyone here purchased cats from these guys (or anyone else
for that matter)?  Do the drop in units have the connection for the temp
probe?  With the prospects of boosting the motor at some time soon, I'm also
wondering if it wouldn't be a bad idea to look into high flow cats and have
them installed in place of the stock units ... anyone got any BTDT along
these lines?
