[V8] checking auto trans fluid level

Car should be at full operating temperature=go drive the s**t out of it for
a half hour or more. Park on a known flat spot. Check the fluid level.
If it hasn't been done, you probably ought to do the multiple gallon flush.
That's drain out whatever you get, put in four quarts of fluid. Drive
some (I tried to make it about 100 miles between sessions), repeat the
draining. Drive some more and repeat again. By now you have put in 12
quarts of new fluid. That's the tranny's capacity.
