Hey Listers,
I remember some discussion in the past, but could find nothing definitive in
the archives as to whether or not 255- 45 or 40(?) -17's will fit on the V8
without rubbing.
My current setup is 17 x 9 et 35, with 235-45-17 tires on it ( I have 14"
Wilwoods, so no go on anything less than 17" wheels). They have a few little
dings from chuckholes and will now be winter wheels only.
So, I thought that I would poss go up a size for my new summer wheels.
Also, any BTDT with regards to certain tires that might be a "little" wider
than normal and might rub (whereas some in the same size do not) might be
great too.
Happy New Year,
Jack

And FYI , anyone interested in a nice set of factory wheels with 30% worn
Dunlops 225-55-15(mounted) before they hit the marketplace and Ebay?
Wheels are solid 8+ in the looks and no dents.
Respond off list please, and note that they are located in southern NH.
