[V8] V8 stall downhill in gear

Yes, the car has actually stalled in gear while
moving. I too couldn't believe it. I've never seen a
car stall while moving in gear before, but I guess it
can happen. I assume that the engine keeps turning
because it is in gear, but the ignition itself quits.
I know the engine has stalled when I lose power
steering and the dash lights come on. I push in the
clutch, and restart the car and the car runs fine.
I've never seen this happen in a car before, and am a
bit baffled.
The engine somehow bogs itself out when I use the
tranny to slow the car down, not sure what would cause
it, but it happens on every long hill unless i'm in
neutral, on throttle, or have the clutch disnengaged.
A bit baffling, huh?
